•Supporting and driving change.
•Producing results in both Quality and Manufacturing Areas – measurable improvements in both internal and external scrap, as well as, productivity.
•Ensures effective employee relations through coaching and development, employment decisions, employee issue and problem resolution.
•Manages production throughput, quality, labor productivity, cost, safety, and on-time delivery requirements on a daily basis to achieve required goals for these key performance areas. Sustains performance standards to goals.
•Understands key performance indicators (KPI) for the quality assurance inspection area, and develops processes to meet or exceed goals for each KPI.
•Trains inspection and repair personnel to quality standards and work instructions. Establishes performance standards, and provides individual feedback to each employee through an approved scoring system. Works with each employee to sustain acceptable levels of performance.
•Assists in the management of department priorities. Works with department managers, supervisors, and leads to manage disposition of non-conforming product.
•Travel required in support of Supplier On-site Program at Plant 3, and other programs/locations.
•Is responsible for all other duties as assigned.
