POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the sale of flow control products to OEM and Commercial Foodservice Industry customers. Under the direct supervision of the OEM Sales Manager, this role has responsibility of increasing sales revenue of the channel by growing within existing customer base, while balancing the needs of the customers with the needs of the company. OEM customers include original equipment manufacturers, industrial distributors, and other Masco Business Units.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Increases sales revenue by growing within an existing customer base while balancing the needs of the customer with the needs of the company in terms of its profitability, volume, pricing, and forecast requirements

  • Assists in the coordination and execution of projects and processes from concept to delivery. Will require participation on cross-functional teams including; engineering, purchasing, plant, routing and other internal departments to develop new products for current and prospective customers within the assigned territory

  • Negotiates various points of a sale with the customers

  • Provides customer service, follow-up, and support to maintain positive customer relations

  • Conducts formal presentations, including researching and compiling relevant information and materials

  • Develops and seeks out new SKU mixes including new products for current and potential customers

  • Compiles and analyzes monthly and annual sales data and forecast to identify potential sales growth opportunities

  • Able to travel up to 50% domestically and/or globally, to visit customer sites, plants, attend meetings/training, and/or participate in trade shows/events

  • Performs other related duties as needed and assigned

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor degree in business management, marketing, business administration or a related field, and 1-3 years of related experience; Or an equivalent combination of education or training beyond high school and experience

  • Ability to think analytically, creatively, and independently with excellent problem solving skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, advanced level MS Excel user

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams

  • Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement; track record leading and implementing sustainable process improvements, seeking out and implementing internal or external best practices

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with the plumbing industry and products
