As an Event Planning intern, you will have the opportunity to help with corporate and customer events. This person will work closely with the Senior Manager and Manager of Event Marketing along with Marketing, Sales, Rep Agencies, and key supporting agency partners to consistently exceed customer expectations.
August 2018- 2019
Event Marketing: help develop and implement customer facing events. Events include, but not limited to sales meetings, Indy customer events, and in-field customer events.
Event Administration: Will help with coordinating all details for participants including logistics, communications, and event management and help with maintaining customer contact lists.
Event Execution: help manager cross-functional coordination within DFC and outside agencies to drive and support a consistent message to targeted customer and influencer groups
Education and Experience/Skills:
The ideal candidate is working on a bachelor degree in Hospitality Tourism Management or Communications, preferably a Junior. Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Word, keen attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong communication and time management skills are required.
